What is Green Juice?

One of the biggest healthy trends over the last several years has been Green Juice. What is Green Juice you ask? Green Juice usually involves some combination of wheatgrass, kale, cucumber, spinach, chard, parsley and mint. Often some fruits are introduced to sweeten and improve its taste.

Green Juice is loaded with essential vitamins and minerals. Some of which are vitamin A and K, vitamin C as well as iron.


Everyone from health enthusiasts to social media influencers are drinking – talking about consuming - Green Juice! Many researchers, health workers and active “juicers” tout that Green Juice health benefits include; improved digestion, reduced inflammation and weight loss.

The most important characteristic of this superfood is that it boosts your immune system. The challenge is consuming enough of these nutrients in a single day. The normal diet may not contain enough of these super-nutrients. As an example, most of us don’t eat 4 servings of veggies in a day.

The answer is either juicing or a supplemental drink of some sort!

Most people agree that Green Juice is not a substitute for a balanced and healthy diet. But most people also agree on the benefits that come with consuming more vegetables and fruits in all forms. So green juice really should be added to the normal diet.

It is obvious that drinking your vegetable is easy, efficient and cost effective. Further, regular intake may reduce inflammation (major cause of disease), support healthy digestion, boost immune system and weight loss.
